Lies About God vs Truth About God

Front Range Counseling Center provides Christian counseling to those that request it.  Below are 4 lies about God and 4 truths about God:

LIES ABOUT GOD

1. He’s far off, busy about other things, doesn’t care about me
2. He could have stopped it but did not
3. God is cruel, judgmental, vindictive, angry at us
4. He doesn’t really forgive as easily as He says in 1 Jn 1:9

TRUTHS ABOUT GOD

1. He’s near, cares and is willing to help.
2. He gave free will, but kept the enemy from destroying you.
3. God is kind, gentle–look at Jesus (Jn 14:9)
4. He keeps His word and both forgives and forgets
