Caroline Jenkins, MA
Counselor

Caroline specializes in working with individuals and children who are struggling with grief, loss and life transitions. She believes people are given the opportunity for growth with each life situation. As a therapist, she feels it is an honor to be a part of an individual’s journey through the grief process.
Caroline uses the Grief Wheel as a base for grief education, which focuses on different phases one might go through while grieving. Grief is not limited to death but can be present in any life change or loss. Caroline understands that grief, if unprocessed, can increase personal anguish, depression, or physical ailments which are already accompanied with grief.
Caroline received her Masters degree in Counseling from Regis University and completed a one year internship as a bereavement counselor with Hospice of St. John. She received a Bachelor of Science in Family and Child Development and a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (concentration on Psychology, English, and Cultural Issues) from Virginia Tech University.
Caroline was born and raised in Louisiana and moved to Denver in 2001. She recently celebrated her one year anniversary with her husband, Christopher. She enjoys reading, hiking, mentoring, football, and traveling.
